*Press Windows + Rand type msinfo32 and press Enter.

* Now choose System Summary in System information.

* In the right hand side of the columns and check the value of BIOS mode. Either it may be UEFI or Legacy.

If you have Legacy BIOS mode then you can try this method to fix the error. The steps are given below-

Step 1-At first turn Off the PC, then Turn On and press the Boot key Esc.

Step 2-BIOSmenu display on screen, navigate to the Boot option.

Step 3-Now select the UEFI option and save the changes.

Causes Of Windows Can’t Be Installed To This Disk GPT Error

Windows can’t be installed to this disk. The selected disk is of GPT style. The message means the Computer is set up to start in legacy BIOS mode, but the hard disk where Windows will be installed has GPT partition. Some motherboards supports Legacy BIOS rather legacy +UEFI/ CSM boot. Legacy BIOS doesn’t support modern GPT partitioning.
